The Pitch

  • About me ... I’m a specialist -- multicultural marketing, that’s my thing. When my clients want to build relationships with this audience, they call me. As their partner/consultant/ confidante, I turn insight into ideas that have impact.

I'm a color commentator trapped in the body of a marketing strategist. So, while the marketing guy consults; the color commentator writes this blog.

This site provides news, insight and ideas for marketers interested in multicultural and non-traditional marketing.

Good one. I'd also add as 9. Don't send a LinkedIn request until you know the person. I don't want someone asking for a referral for you and I've only spoken to you for five minutes at a conference.

8. Don't spend too much time with people you already know. Too many time we stay within our comfort zone and don't meet new people. The entire goal is to make new connections!
